I’m a North Carolina lawyer with over 20 years of experience. I represent people and families, not corporations or insurance companies.
Since 1998, I have represented thousands of people in matters as wide ranging as traffic tickets, criminal cases, personal injuries, and immigration matters. I now concentrate the majority of my practice on workers’ compensation and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases.
Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of trying cases before juries in numerous counties in North Carolina. I have learned that the right of an injured person to have their case heard and decided by a jury of peers is what makes our judicial system better than anywhere else. I am selective with the cases our firm accepts, because I do not take this fundamental right lightly.
Above all, I give my clients competent, compassionate, and honest legal representation to help resolve their legal problems.
I was born and raised in Winston-Salem and graduated from Mount Tabor High School. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, I taught English in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, where I became fluent in Spanish. I returned to North Carolina and starting my law practice in Winston-Salem. I have seen firsthand the growing Hispanic/Latino community and issues they face in immigration, personal injury, worker’s compensation, and other legal matters. I have been privileged to be able to represent and advocate for many Latino clients.
I am married and have a son, a step-son, and a daughter.
If you or a family member are seeking legal advice regarding a serious injury or death of a loved one, please call my office and we would be glad to speak to you.
