Dogs are “man’s best friend” and add joy to our lives. But they also require training, care, and respect. Unfortunately, some dog owners do not recognize their responsibility to their dog and to their neighbors. Many North Carolina counties have “leash laws” that require dog owners to keep their dogs from roaming off the owner’s property.
